Job Title: RN Labor & Delivery (LD)
Locations: Fresno, CA
Duration: 13 weeks  (Possible Extension)
Shift: 7am - 7pm (12hr Day)

Pay: $70/hr  - $85/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery (L&D) team in Fresno, CA for a 13-week assignment with potential extension. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care and support to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including monitoring vitals, fetal heart tones, and progress of labor.
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal births and C-sections.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Educate and support patients and families during the childbirth experience.
• Perform assessments and respond to emergencies using critical thinking and clinical skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

 Requirements:

• Active California RN license (unencumbered)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Experience with high-risk deliveries and knowledge of obstetric emergencies is a plus
