Job Title: RN-PCU (Step Down Unit (SDU) – Critical Adult Need)
Job Location: Baldwin Park, Panorama City CA
Job Duration: November/ December Starts
Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM- Nights
Schedule: 13 Weeks (Possibility of Extension)
Weekly Gross: $2500- $3000/week for Travellers (50 Miles above from Facility ), $60- $69/- on Local
License and Certifications:
As a Step Down Unit (SDU) RN, you will provide care for patients who are transitioning from intensive care but still require close monitoring and specialized nursing care. Responsibilities include:
Job Location: Baldwin Park, Panorama City CA
Job Duration: November/ December Starts
Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM- Nights
Schedule: 13 Weeks (Possibility of Extension)

- Active RN license in the state of California
- BLS – Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) - Required
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale - If Expired Can Renew or Apply after Offer
As a Step Down Unit (SDU) RN, you will provide care for patients who are transitioning from intensive care but still require close monitoring and specialized nursing care. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and assessing patients with moderate to high acuity conditions.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Managing cardiac monitors, IV drips, and other advanced equipment.
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Providing education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Responding promptly to changes in patient condition and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Participating in unit meetings and continuing education to stay current with best practices.
- Supporting a safe and healing environment for patients in transition from critical care.
