Job Description:
- Provide direct nursing care to paediatric, orthopaedic & surgical patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout treatment.
- Assist in preoperative and postoperative assessments, including vital signs, wound care, and pain management.
- Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-surgery care, rehabilitation, and preventive measures.
- Monitor patient progress and identify complications, reporting changes to the medical team promptly.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain accurate patient records.
Experience:
- 2 years of relevant unit experience strongly desired
Education:
- Associates in Nursing required
- Bachelors in Nursing preferred
Certifications and Licenses:
- BLS (AHA) required
- PALS preferred
- WI RN license or Compact State License
