Registered Nurse (RN) - OR
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room
Location: Neptune, NJ 07754
Duration: 05/18/2026 – 08/15/2026
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: 4 days/week, 10 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week, No weekends, No holidays, No on-call, Float within perioperative services
Schedule Notes: Ambulatory Surgery – Operating Room; Required Years of Experience: 2 years
Work Setting: Hospital – Ambulatory Surgery / Operating Room
Pay Range: $60-$64/hr.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Clinical knowledge to develop and implement nursing care plans
- Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- N/A
Education
- ASN required
- BSN preferred
Certifications & Licensure
- BLS – AHA
- NJ State RN License or Compact License
- ACLS – AHA (Preferred)
- PALS (Preferred)
Job Summary
Responsible for applying the nursing process in the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Ensures accurate documentation of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes. Supports coordination of care and evaluates work of non-nursing staff within the OR.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in ambulatory surgery setting
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for surgical care
- Assign and evaluate support staff within the OR
- Ensure adherence to clinical and safety standards
