Pay Rate: $50/hr. on W2
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with professional standards and state Board of Nursing regulations. The RN is responsible for comprehensive patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while also executing physician-delegated medical functions and promoting patient well-being.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions in line with accepted standards and Board of Nursing guidelines.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
- Continuously evaluate patients' health status by collecting and assessing health data.
- Provide patient and family education through health teaching and counseling.
- Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or via supervision/consultation.
- Refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment as needed.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment effectiveness.
- Accurately document all care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Use available resources effectively to support patient care.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health; follow organizational service behavior standards.
- Float to other departments as needed, based on competency and organizational need.
- Be available for on-call duty during scheduled shifts, if required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
- Knowledge and skills appropriate to licensed nursing practice.
- Compliance with education, licensure, and experience as required by role.
- Ability to document, communicate, and manage tasks with professionalism and accuracy.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience working as a Registered Nurse (RN) is preferred.
