Pay Rate: $70/hr. on W2

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Nights)
Unit Size: 20 Beds
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Dress Code: Personal scrubs (any color)

Note: STIPEND IS ALSO PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit in Pittsfield, MA. This 3 Months+ contract night shift assignment offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-acuity care in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
The Progressive Care Unit serves patients requiring close monitoring but not intensive care—commonly those transitioning from the ICU or with complex medical needs. This role is ideal for experienced RNs who value a low nurse-to-patient ratio and seek professional growth in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to stepdown-level patients.
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and manage complex IV therapies and cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health records (EHR).
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control policies.

• RN license 
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Progressive Care/Stepdown.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
