Requirements
Experience
-
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Education
-
Required: Registered Nurse Diploma

Preferred: Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing
Licensure & Certifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
-
CPI Blue Card 12 months (Crisis Prevention Institute ONLY)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Job Summary
Acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Product & Standards of Practice. Delegates and directs licensed and ancillary team members, maintains accountability for quality patient outcomes, supports departmental strategic goals, and demonstrates professional responsibility in alignment with the organizations nursing philosophy.
