RN - Med Surg

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Nights)
Location: Midland, MI 48670
Start Date: June 23, 2025
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts | 36-hour/week guarantee
Weekends: Every other weekend

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct nursing care to medical-surgical and orthopedic surgical patients in a hospital setting. The RN is responsible for patient assessment, care planning, treatment implementation, and evaluation. Compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular assessments and deliver skilled nursing care per physician-authorized plan of care.

• Administer medications, respond to alarms, assist with transfers, and manage resident needs.

• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and collaborate on updates to care plans.

• Accurately process and execute physician orders and follow up on medication/order changes.

• Support and direct patient care technicians in daily responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Michigan RN License – Required

• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience – Required

• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA) – Required

  • ACLS (AHA) – Required
