Job Title: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
Duration: 5 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Every other weekend required, with possible holiday rotations; per diem start with transition to full-time during FTE provider’s leave.
Licensure / Certification: Active State Advanced Practice Nurse license, National Board Certification, current BLS. DEA registration required at offer acceptance.
Position Summary:
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) works collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based care for a panel of patients. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning. The FNP will also perform administrative duties and contribute to patient health outcomes through preventative care, chronic disease management, and patient education. This role reports to the Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and counseling.
- Perform routine exams, coordinate care plans, and encourage patient engagement in health and wellness.
- Support administrative operations: opening/closing clinic, managing inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Participate in quality measurement and chronic disease management initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical colleagues to ensure comprehensive, high-quality patient care.
- Work autonomously and in alignment with clinical care team protocols.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current National Board Certification and State license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- Minimum 1 year of recent primary care experience preferred. Completion of Client Minute Clinic primary care training program is an alternative.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with clinical information systems and technology.
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidate questionnaire must be included on resume.
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
- DEA registration required at the time of offer acceptance.
- Must provide active BLS certification upon offer acceptance.
