Certified Operating Room Tech
Job Title: Certified Operating Room Tech
Location: Portland, ME 04102
Duration: 3 Months+ contract (with possibility of extension)
Note: MUST HAVE CARDIAC EXPERIENCE
CVOR CST: Mainly adult, Pediatric cardiac experience a plus.
Proficiencies: Must be proficient in CABGs, Valves, Aortic Dissections.
Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): CST.
Specialty: Operating Room.
Number of Openings: Numerous.
Shift: 7 am – 7 pm for days, 11 am - 11 pm for evenings, 7 pm – 7 am for nights.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
Weekend Hours:
- 36 (unless otherwise noted): 1:4 weekends, 12 hour shifts.
Call Requirements:
- One overnight call, 11 pm – 7 am for Trauma call.
- If on a specialty team, call will be scheduled per specialty team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Client).
Years of Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience.
Required Certifications:
- CST required.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 26.
- Patient Ratios: 1:1.
- Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot.
- EMR: Epic.
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma experience.
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: General, GU/GYN, Client trauma, Client joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular.
- Type of Patients on Unit: Operating Room.
