Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Different locations available)
Job Duration: 3+ month contract (High possibilities of Extension)
 
Work Shift: 7am - 3:30pm (every other weekend)
Two for 7 am - 7:30 pm; One for 7 am - 3:30 pm (every other weekend
 
Note: Excellent pay package with stipend for travel candidates.
 
Job Summary:

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician, consistent with policies and procedures, and unit-based routines.
• Informs patients and families about treatments and medications being received, equipment being utilized, and other related activities as appropriate, in coordination with the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician.
• Communicates and collaborates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of service.
• Documents patient chargeable items according to standards.
• Recognizes appropriate and ethical behaviours and identifies resources for resolution as needed.

 
Required Skills & Experience:

• Must have at least one year of LPN experience.
• Continuing Care Neuro Residential experience – two years preferred.

 
Required Certifications & Licenses:

• BLS – AHA
• License Practical Nursing (LPN) - State of Michigan
