Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Family/Primary Care
 
Candidate Submission Requirements:
  • Completed candidate questionnaire including:
    • NP/PA license active and in good standing in the state where applying.
    • License number and current valid dates.
    • NPI number.
    • Primary care experience.
    • Electronic Medical Systems (EMS) used.
    • Upcoming planned time off.
    • Actively working with a Client recruiter on a permanent role.
    • Openness to occasional travel for float work if necessary.
    • Availability for interview.
    • Availability to start a new position if offered.
  • Current BLS from ARC or AHA required (copy to be provided upon offer acceptance).
 
Work Requirements:
  • All Client positions are safety sensitive.
  • Position requires working every other weekend with possible holiday rotations.
 
Position Summary:
  • Client Nurse Practitioners work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based care to a panel of patients.
  • The team works with the provider daily to drive better outcomes for the entire patient panel.
  • Responsibilities include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
  • Reports to the practice manager.
 
Duties:
  • Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
  • Perform administrative duties including opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
  • Educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive care plan.
  • Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management.
 
Experience Requirements:
  • Candidate questionnaire must be included on resume.
  • Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and state licensure.
  • Minimum 1 year recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine or primary care preferred. If not, successful completion of Client Minute Clinic primary care training program.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in chronic disease management.
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritize, solve problems, take initiative, and advocate for patients and practice.
  • Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Initiative, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work remotely in a clinical care team culture and practice autonomously.
  • Proficient with information management and technology.
  • Willingness to obtain multi-state licensures.
  • Capacity to collaborate frequently with professional colleagues to ensure quality patient care.
 
Education:
  • Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and state licensure to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
