Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN-OR) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in perioperative nursing and ensure patient safety and quality care throughout all phases of surgery. This role demands clinical proficiency, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with surgeons and the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor patient vitals, ensure sterility, and assist during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with facility standards.
• Uphold infection control protocols and AORN guidelines throughout surgical processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas or Compact State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• 2 years OR experience.
