Job Title: ICU Clinical Nurse – Pre-Liver Transplant Unit
Location: New York, NY
Department: Pre-Liver Transplant
Contract Type: 13 weeks
Shift Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Days per Week: 5 (Monday–Friday)
Hours per Week: 40
Pay Rate: $58/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
The ICU Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within the Pre-Liver Transplant unit. This role emphasizes safe, competent care based on nursing theory, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The nurse will manage patient care in a modified primary nursing model and uphold the tenets of Relationship Centered Care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing accepted with relevant experience or BSN enrollment

Licenses/Certifications:
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including critical care or telemetry
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience (required for travel positions)
- EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

Unit Details:
- Average Unit Census: 8
- Beds per Unit: 8
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2
