Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601
Duration: 4 to 5 + Months (Possibilities of Extension)
 
Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr. on W2
 
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The RN plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on each patient’s needs and ensures quality and safety throughout the care process.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and determine priorities for care through thorough assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care based on initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Initiate assessments according to patient problems, physician diagnoses, and the functional health framework.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions safely and effectively.
• Manage overall care of assigned patients, advocating for patient needs.
• Document nursing care in compliance with standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Promote and advocate for evidence-based nursing care practices and support innovation in care delivery.
• Deliver patient-centered care consistent with the professional nursing practice model.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

 
Skills and Experience:
Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty.
