RN - Emergency Department
Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Emergency Department
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (Travel Contract)
Pay Range: $60 $65/hr
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.
Schedule Notes:
Work Hours: 36 hours per week (3x12 hour shifts)
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Block Scheduling/48-Hour Requests: Not permitted
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. The RN will handle a variety of adult and pediatric cases, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving treatment. This role demands rapid assessment skills, critical thinking, and experience in emergency situations.
Responsibilities:

Perform triage, assessments, and prioritize patient care in the emergency setting

Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered

Accurately document all care provided using Epic EMR

Respond to trauma, cardiac, stroke, behavioral, and medical emergencies

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Support patients and families with education and emotional care
Skills & Requirements:

Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience (required)

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

License: Active NY State RN License (pending license considered)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC (preferred)

EMR Experience: Epic REQUIRED
