Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Chronic Dialysis
Job Location: Milwaukee, WI
Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts: Monday - Saturday rotation | 40 hours/week guaranteed

Job Summary:

  • As a Dialysis RN, you’ll play a critical role in caring for patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
  • You will lead and supervise patient care technicians, oversee dialysis treatments, monitor vital signs, handle machine setup, and build strong, long-term relationships with patients and their families.
  • The role combines advanced clinical care with leadership responsibilities in a compassionate outpatient setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality chronic dialysis care and monitor ESRD patients during treatments.
  • Supervise and lead dialysis techs; serve as charge nurse when scheduled.
  • Set up and operate dialysis machines; ensure proper documentation and EMR entry.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Foster patient engagement, trust, and education throughout their care journey.


Requirements:

  • 1+ year Chronic Dialysis experience – Required.
  • Charge RN dialysis experience – Required.
  • Willing and capable to serve as Charge RN – Required.
  • Fresenius Medical Care (FMC) & EMR experience – Required.
