Position Description
The acute rehabilitation RN assists individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function. The rehabilitation staff nurse assists clients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for clients and their familys development. The nurse designs and implements treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. The rehabilitation nurse works in inpatient and outpatient settings that can be found in a range of acute to subacute rehabilitation facilities.
Facility Requirements:
- Must have BLS & NIH certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
- Must have 2 years recent Inpatient Acute Rehab experience in a hospital setting
- Must have Oklahoma RN or multi-state RN license, must be attached to resume
- Candidate will need to have their OK fingerprints
