Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - PICU
Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49503
Duration: 3 Months+ contract (possibility of extension)
Schedule: Nights 19:00 – 07:30 , Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend.
(possibility of rotating 6 weeks on days and 6 weeks on nights)
Note: Stipend is also provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.
Duties:
- PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) nurses are responsible for the specialized care of critically ill children, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities.
- These include monitoring vital signs, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with the healthcare team, providing family support, and responding to emergencies.
- Nurses effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure everyone is informed and on the same page regarding patient care.
- Nurses coordinate and manage patient care, overseeing the work of other healthcare professionals and ensuring efficient delivery of services.
Certifications and Licenses:
- MI State or can apply upon offer
- BLS - AHA
- PALS – AHA
