Ambulatory - Critical Need
Job Title: RN – Ambulatory Surgery
Location: Duluth, GA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Day Shift – 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Float Requirement:
Candidate must be willing to float between Procedure Suites at three additional facilities located in: Sandy Springs, Kennesaw, Jonesboro, GA
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery to support a Day Surgery / Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN will provide patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures while ensuring safety, documentation accuracy, and coordination with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to assess patient health status and identify nursing diagnoses

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

Complete POE (Plan of Encounter) and address care gaps during patient visits

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies

Assist physicians and providers during surgical or procedural cases

Monitor patient condition during and after procedures

Provide patient education and discharge instructions as needed

Collaborate with physicians, healthcare team members, patients, and families to coordinate care

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License

Experience in Ambulatory Surgery, Outpatient Surgery, or Day Surgery setting

Strong patient assessment and documentation skills

Ability to assist in procedural environments and monitor patients post-procedure
Preferred Qualifications
-
Prior experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or Procedure Suite
-
Experience working in multisite or float roles
