Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Travel)
Location: Salinas, CA
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Day Shift
Shift Length: 12 Hours
Hours per Week: 36 Hours
Pay Package:
Weekly Gross: $2,991.98
Weekly Taxable: $1,239
Weekly Stipend: $1,752.98
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the patient record
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on patient needs
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams in planning care
- Provide, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for ICU patients
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and update care plans accordingly
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Promote patient safety and adhere to hospital safety policies and procedures
- Support team collaboration and effective communication within the healthcare team
- Act as preceptor or charge nurse when assigned
- Participate in departmental improvement initiatives and training programs
- Ensure care is appropriate to the age and developmental needs of the patients served
Required Qualifications:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS – AHA & ACLS – AHA Certification
- Minimum 2 year of clinical RN experience in ICU or specialty areas
- Epic EMR experience (6–12 months recent)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
