Job Duration: 3+ Months Contract (Possibilities of Extension)

*Note: Candidate must reside outside 90 miles radius from the facility.

Shift:

• Night Shift (7PM – 7AM) with every other weekend
• 3days/week (36Hrs/Week)

 
Job Description:
experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Telemetry/Stroke Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience working with telemetry patients and managing complex cardiac care, as well as providing support for stroke patients.
Must Have Skills/Experience:

• Strong experience with telemetry monitoring.
• Proficient in administering and managing diltiazem (Dilt) drips, amiodarone drips, insulin drips, Lasix, and Bumex drips.
• Experience with chest tube management, VAC dressings, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Ability to manage and monitor pacemakers.
• Experience caring for ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience working with stroke patients and providing post-stroke care.

 
Unit/Patient Population:

• Medical Telemetry Unit with a focus on ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients.
• Manage patients requiring cardiac and stroke care, including telemetry monitoring and post-operative stroke care.

 
Required:

• BLS, ACLS from AHA is required
• Epic experience required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience.
