Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Critical Need
Location: Atlanta, GA 30328
Department: Radiology Dept
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care for breast biopsy procedures
  • Support procedures including:
    • Stereotactic breast biopsy
    • Savi Scout localization
    • Breast ultrasound-guided biopsy
  • Prepare patients for procedures, review documentation, and provide education
  • Monitor patients post-procedure and report any complications
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
  • Float to clinics within a 30-mile radius as needed
Qualifications
  • Active LVN/LPN license (State of Georgia)
  • BLS certification (AHA preferred)
  • Previous procedural or outpatient clinical experience preferred
  • Experience in radiology or surgical settings is a plus
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to different clinic settings within assigned radius

  • Experience with pre-op/post-op patient care
  • Flexible and reliable with floating capability
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
