Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Critical Need
Location: Atlanta, GA 30328
Department: Radiology Dept
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Critical Need
Location: Atlanta, GA 30328
Department: Radiology Dept
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care for breast biopsy procedures
- Support procedures including:
- Stereotactic breast biopsy
- Savi Scout localization
- Breast ultrasound-guided biopsy
- Prepare patients for procedures, review documentation, and provide education
- Monitor patients post-procedure and report any complications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Float to clinics within a 30-mile radius as needed
- Active LVN/LPN license (State of Georgia)
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Previous procedural or outpatient clinical experience preferred
- Experience in radiology or surgical settings is a plus
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different clinic settings within assigned radius
- Comfortable working in a procedural setting
- Experience with pre-op/post-op patient care
- Flexible and reliable with floating capability
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
