Pay Range: $65 $70 per hour
General Description:
Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with a wide range of health problems, from simple to complex conditions.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsibilities listed below are core to the position. Inability to perform these duties, with or without reasonable accommodation, may result in disqualification.

Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.

Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; records all changes in physician orders.

Assists physicians during examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Obtains and monitors physiological data; observes and responds to patient conditions as necessary.

Administers medications as prescribed; initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products.

Delivers patient care competently and safely.

Communicates with patients and families regarding care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.

Coordinates patient care needs and referrals to appropriate personnel.

Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff.
General Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
-
Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures.

Strong organizational, planning, coordination, and evaluation skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with coworkers.
-
Ability to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate care.
-
Basic computer proficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Must have travel RN experience and step-down experience. Preceptor and charge nurse experience preferred.
Education:
-
Required: Associate s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
-
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program.
Certifications & Licensure:

Required:
-
Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
