Job Title: Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (OR Tech)
Job Location: Portland, ME 07047
Job Duration: 3+ Months Contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: 7 am – 7 pm for days.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48 preferred, 36 acceptable.
Weekend Hours (36 unless otherwise noted): 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts.
Call Requirements: One overnight call, 11 pm – 7 am for Trauma call. If on a specialty team, call will be scheduled per specialty team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Client).
Floor: Operating Room.

Education & Certifications Required:
- CST Required.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 26.
- Patient Ratios: 1:1.
- Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot.
- EMR: Epic.
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma experience.
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: General, GU/GYN, Client trauma, Client joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular.
- Type of Patients on Unit: Operating Room.
- Personality Fit: Flexible, accountable, timely, team player.
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Teal scrubs issued from the hospital.
