RN - CVICU
Job Title: Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (RN - CVICU)
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $60 $70/hr.
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel CVICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care for postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring intensive monitoring. Candidates must demonstrate strong competencies with high-acuity patients, trauma-level one experience, and proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Applicants must have recent Epic EMR experience and complete a required competency test within 24 hours of submission.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients

Manage ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, and temporary pacemakers

Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and interpret ECGs

Titrate vasoactive and inotropic drips safely and effectively

Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team for patient stabilization and recovery

Document all patient care using Epic EMR
Skills & Requirements:

Epic EMR Experience: Required
Experience:

2 3 years of staff CVICU experience required

Trauma Level One experience required
Competency Test:

Must be completed within 24 hours of submission
