RN - Medical Cardiology
Job Title: RN Medical Cardiology
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (Travel Assignment)
Pay range - $65/hr - $70/hr.
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.
Schedule Notes:
Work Hours: 36 hours/week (12-hour night shifts)
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Job Summary:
Client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Medical Cardiology Unit for a night shift travel assignment. This high-acuity telemetry unit requires nurses proficient in cardiac monitoring and patient management in an academic medical setting. EPIC experience is mandatory, and the role demands excellent critical thinking and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct telemetry nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions

Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias

Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform necessary interventions

Accurately document patient data using EPIC EMR

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Follow hospital protocols, patient safety, and infection control standards

Float to similar telemetry or med-surg units if required
Skills & Requirements:

EPIC EMR Experience: Required

BLS & ACLS Certification: Preferred/Required per AMC standards

Experience:

Minimum 2 years telemetry/cardiac nursing experience (Required)

Education: Graduate of accredited Nursing Program (ASN/BSN)

RN License NY State: Active or Pending (Pending accepted on case-by-case basis)
