Schedule: 3x12s – Nights (36 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hr. on - W2
Position Overview
We’re seeking a clinically strong Stepdown RN ready to operate in a high-acuity, cardiac-focused environment. This is not your standard med-surg floor. This is progressive care with purpose — where precision, vigilance, and speed meet compassion. If telemetry rhythms don’t intimidate you and stroke protocols are muscle memory, you’ll thrive here.
Unit Highlights:

• Specialized in acute MI, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, CHF, and low-risk chest pain
• Dedicated Stroke Unit – All RNs are NIH Stroke Scale certified
• Cardiac monitoring across cardiology, renal, endocrine, pulmonology, GI, oncology
• Non-invasive ventilation management: BiPAP, CPAP, APAP
• Infusion therapy, transfusions, injections, and central line care
• Support from patient care assistants (ADLs, glucose testing, 12-lead EKGs)

• Deliver age-appropriate, culturally competent patient care
• Perform comprehensive assessments and implement evidence-based interventions
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Manage ventilatory support and infusion therapies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional nursing standards

• 1+ year of Stepdown or Telemetry experience
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact License
• BLS & ACLS (AHA required)
• Diploma in Nursing
