Staff RN Emergency

Job Title: Staff RN Emergency
Location: Mequon, WI
Duration: 3 Months / 13 weeks (High possibilities of extension or a fulltime based on business needs and individual performance)
 
Shift: 12-hour, Days and Every other weekend  


Job Description:

• Patient Care: Provide immediate assessment, triage, and treatment to emergency patients, ensuring rapid stabilization.
• Clinical Skills: Administer medications, IV therapy, and life-saving interventions (e.g., CPR, intubation assistance).
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, paramedics, and healthcare teams to coordinate emergency care.
• Documentation: Accurately record patient information, treatments, and responses in electronic health records (EHR).
• Crisis Management: Remain calm under pressure, prioritize multiple critical cases, and follow hospital protocols for emergencies.

 
Experience:

• 2 years of experience in the relevant unit strongly desired.
• EPIC EMR experience required.

 
Education:

• Associates in Nursing required
• Bachelors in Nursing preferred

 
Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS
• TNCC
• WI RN License or Compact State License
