Shift Details:
- PM 19:30 – 07:30.
- 12-hour Nights, float as needed
- Schedule: No call.
- 6 weekend days in 6 weeks.
- Block scheduling not preferred
Pay Information:
- This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.
- However, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like:
- Stipends (for clinical traveler workers only).
Unit Description:
- Stepdown unit with Ventilator management, Sedation (Precedex) Drips, Cardiac (Cardizem, Cardene) Drips.
- 6 Months required with Ventilator management, 1 year preferred.
- ACLS, NIHSS required.
- 3:1 Ratio, 12 Bed unit.
- Medical more than surgical patients with pulmonary team assigned to them.
Job Summary:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Education:
Required Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
Required Certification & Licensure:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- BLS.
Certifications & Licenses:
- ACLS Provider.
- BLS.
- RN.
- Registered Nurse.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
