Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) LTAC | Telemetry
Location: Denver, CO 80218
Employment Type: 3 Months+ Contract
Note: Facility Type: Long-Term Acute Care hospital with telemetry capabilities.
Pay rate: $65/hr. on W2
Shift:
- Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 12-Hour Shifts.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year (2–5 years preferred).
Position Description:
- We are seeking an experienced LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Denver, Colorado, for a 13-week contract.
- This role involves delivering high-quality care to medically complex patients in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Telemetry setting, often involving ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and central line management.
- The ideal candidate demonstrates critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and leadership while providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
- The nurse will utilize the Nursing Process and comply with the Colorado Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care in an LTAC and telemetry environment, including:
- Ventilator management.
- Tracheostomy care.
- Central line monitoring and maintenance.
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
- Wound care (preferred).
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and evaluate responses to treatment.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Accurately document patient care, observations, and outcomes in the EMR.
- Supervise and delegate duties to licensed and unlicensed staff according to their scope of practice.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain clinical competencies and adhere to patient safety and infection control protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active Colorado RN license or multi-state compact RN license (must be submitted with resume).

Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association – required).
- ACLS (American Heart Association – required).

Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent LTAC/Telemetry RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Must have experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, and central lines.
- Wound care experience preferred.
