RN Psych
Job Title: Registered Nurse Psych
Location: Terre Haute, IN
Duration: 3 moths with possible extension
Pay range - $50/hr - $55/hr.
Schedule Notes:
Work Hours: 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts*3 days)
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
On-Call Requirement: Weekends and holidays as assigned
Job Summary:
Client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift in our adult addiction recovery unit. As part of a collaborative care team, the RN will provide safe, evidence-based care to patients in detox and residential treatment, promoting long-term recovery in a voluntary, non-restrictive environment.
Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients undergoing chemical dependency treatment

Monitor patient conditions and administer prescribed medications

Collaborate with counselors and tech staff to support individualized treatment plans

Maintain clear, timely documentation using EHR (HCS system)

Uphold safety standards and infection control practices in a secure, restraint-free setting

Participate in orientation, training, and shift change communication

Engage in continuous improvement and uphold evidence-based treatment protocols
Skills & Requirements:

Active RN License (Indiana or Compact) Required

BLS Certification Required

CPI Certification Preferred (Can be obtained on site)

Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience in a chemical dependency or behavioral health unit Required

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN or BSN

Physical & Work Environment Requirements: Ability to work night shifts, manage a 1:16 nurse-to-patient ratio, and operate in a non-secure, voluntary care setting
