Location: Oakland, CA 94611
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)

Unit: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
Shift: 12 hr. Nights/Day
Local:$75/hr. on W2
Travel: $3,300/week
 
Position Overview:
The ICU RN will provide high-acuity patient care in a critical care setting, ensuring safe and effective treatment for patients with life-threatening conditions. The role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to respond to emergencies with precision and composure.
 
Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and manage complex medical equipment (ventilators, drips, etc.)
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatment plans, and recovery processes
   

Requirements:

• Active RN license for California – Required
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA) – Required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience – Required
