Travel RN - Operating Room - Days

Job Title: RN – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Pay range - $65 - $70/hr.
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Schedule Notes:

• Work Hours: 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts)
• Shift Timing: 7:00 AM End Time: 7:30 PM
• On-Call Requirement: None

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, client-specific, and vascular surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert perioperative care across cardiac, neuro, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile environment and manage surgical instruments
• Ensure compliance with AMC protocols and standards
• Communicate effectively with the care team and patients
• Accurately document in EMR system

Skills & Requirements:

• Licensure: Active NY RN license (pending license may be considered)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
• Specialty Skills: Strong background in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, client-specific, and vascular OR cases
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
• Certifications: BLS ACLS
• EMR: Experience with the facility’s EMR system
