Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Schedule: 3 shifts/week | 36 hours/week | Up to Every Other Weekend

The Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery is responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient care to mothers and newborns. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care in alignment with professional nursing standards. The RN will play a critical role in ensuring safe deliveries, monitoring maternal and fetal wellbeing, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
- Provide full-spectrum Labor & Delivery nursing care
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions based on clinical assessment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical standards
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Active Wisconsin RN License or Multi-State Compact License
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP (AAP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (NCC Certification) — candidate can obtain/submit upon offer.
- Strong recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience
