Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Clinic
Job Title: Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Clinic
Location: Milwaukee, WI, 53226
Duration: 3 Months+ (Potential to Extend)
Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: 5 Days/Week, 40 Hours/Week – No Weekends, No On-Call, No Floating
Job Summary:
• Ambulatory Services works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family-centered care.
• The RN systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health.
• Establishes goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers.
• Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care.
• Delegates and supervises care in accordance with the WI Nurse Practice.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives and assumes responsibility for professional development.
Education:
• Associates in Nursing required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Licensure & Certifications:
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from an NLC participating state.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or AHA-approved equivalent.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
