Job Summary:
- Seeking experienced Emergency Department travel nurses to:
- Provide frontline care in a high-volume, high-acuity ED
- Manage trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, and acute medical issues
- Apply quick critical thinking and strong triage skills
- Communicate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Rapid assessment and triage of incoming patients
- Administer medications and emergency interventions
- Initiate and manage IV access
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support teams
- Accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
- Adhere to infection control and emergency safety protocols
- May float to other units as needed
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department (Required)
- EMR: Epic experience (Required)
Certifications:
- Required: AHA BLS, ACLS
- Preferred: TNCC, ENPC, PALS
License:
- Active NY RN License
- Will consider candidates with license pending
