Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
Location: Farmington, ME 04938
Contract Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)

Shift: Variable | Every Other Weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Call: None (May occasionally be offered)
Float: Yes – to Med-Surg/Telemetry
 
Requirements:

• Licensure: Active RN License (State-specific if applicable)
• Certifications (Required):
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Certifications (Preferred):
  • CCRN
• Experience:
  • 3–5 years of critical care/ICU experience preferred
  • PACU experience is a plus
  • Vent management, central line care, medication administration
• Education Modules (Required):
  • Vent management
  • Central line care
  • Medication administration
  • Hospital-specific policies/procedures

• Unit: ICU
• Beds: 4
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Age Group: Adults (18+)
• Equipment Used:
  • Philips Hemodynamic Monitors (Cardiac, Resp, Temp, ETCO2)
  • Glucometer
  • Plum 360 Pumps
  • PCA/Epidural (Sapphire)
  • Kangaroo Pumps
  • Telemetry
• EMR System: EPIC

• Energetic and compassionate
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Dependable with strong care coordination skills
• Experienced in managing critically ill/unstable patients
• Able to assist with intubations and off-hours PACU recovery as needed
