Job Title: RN – Med/Surg Float
Location: Fairfield, CA 94533
Duration: 8 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Day Shift | 3x12s (36 hrs/week)
Pay (Travel): $2,583 Gross Weekly

We’re onboarding a high-performing Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Float role in a dynamic acute care setting. This position is designed for clinicians who can operate with agility, deliver patient-first outcomes, and seamlessly float across units while maintaining clinical excellence.

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care aligned with evidence-based nursing practices
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical + psychosocial) and develop individualized care plans
• Execute, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans, adjusting care based on patient progress
• Collaborate cross-functionally with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care needs
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
• Safely administer medications and operate clinical equipment
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise support staff within scope of practice
• Advocate for patients, ensuring ethical, culturally competent care delivery
• Support patient satisfaction initiatives and contribute to positive care experiences

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent acute care experience
• Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Licensure: Active California RN License
• Certifications: AHA BLS (required)
