Job Responsibilities
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available, and providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Requirements
- Two to 5 years of experience is required.
- Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association).
- Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines, & preferred wound care experience.
- Must have NC or multi-state compact RN license, must be attached to resume.
- Agency must have their NC Nursing Pool License.
