Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join the team at Merriman House Long Term Care Unit. This facility is home to 45 residents and specializes in geriatric and dementia care. The successful candidate will provide resident-centered care and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
Unit Details:
- Unit Type: Long Term Care (Not a skilled facility)
- Number of Beds: 45
- Patient Ratios: 1:22
- Type of Patients: Geriatric, Dementia
- Equipment: Med carts, computers, resident lifts
- EMR Systems: PointClick Care, EPIC (view only)
- Notable Detail: A resident cat lives on-site at the facility
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1 year of recent Long Term Care experience
- Active New Hampshire Nursing License (RN or LPN)
- Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Additional experience in dementia care
- Familiarity with PointClick Care EMR
