Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Labor & Delivery
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Labor & Delivery
Location: New York, NY 10037
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $70 - $74/Hour. on W2
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: 5 days/week, 7.5 hrs/day, 37.5 hrs/week, No On-Call Required

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will provide specialized nursing care in an outpatient high-risk OB clinic setting, supporting patients with high-risk pregnancies. This role includes performing fetal monitoring, assisting with clinical procedures, and maintaining accurate patient documentation. The nurse will also provide precepting support for staff training and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fetal monitoring for patients in a high-risk OB clinic setting
- Assist with clinical procedures and patient care activities
- Provide precepting and training support to new staff members
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Follow established nursing standards, safety guidelines, and protocols
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Primary Source Verification from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Minimum two (2) years of Maternal and Child nursing experience
- Minimum two (2) years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
- Minimum two (2) years of conscious sedation experience
- Experience with fetal monitoring
