Job Location: Santa Clara, CA
Job Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibility of extension)
Shift time: Nights, 12*3; 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, 36 hours/week guaranteed
Pay Range: $3570 - $3675/week on W2
Roles and Responsibilities:
Education/Requirements:

Shift time: Nights, 12*3; 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, 36 hours/week guaranteed
Pay Range: $3570 - $3675/week on W2
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assists the physician with complex and potentially life-threatening procedures such as cardio-version and insertion of invasive lines, e.g., arterial, venous, and pulmonary artery catheters, chest tubes, and endotracheal tubes.
- Provides constant support to patients and family by providing information on disease processes, pre- and post-operative care, diagnostic procedures, use of equipment related to disease/care.
- Serves as role model to experienced critical care nurses as well as those who are not fully trained.
- Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary medical team, focusing on assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating trauma care.
- Collaborates with a patient-focused multidisciplinary team of clinicians to develop treatment plans, which optimize the expected process of care delivery for trauma patients.
- Conducts analysis of data related to quality and outcomes of trauma/acute patient care, administering clinical and educational activities for nursing personnel, and monitoring staff to ensure performance standards are met.
- Interprets research projects relevant to trauma patient care and collaborates with staff to implement innovative and cost-effective clinical practice strategies
Education/Requirements:
- You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
- RN‘s can only work with an active state license.
- ACLS by AHA required
- BLS by AHA required
- PALS by AHA required
- NIHSS required
