RN - NICU

• Shift: 19:00 07:30

• Availability: Must be able to work weekends

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and family education. Effectively communicates relevant patient and family information to the healthcare team. Actively participates in identifying variances from patient goals, developing solutions, and ensuring appropriate implementation.

Required:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)

Required:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required:

• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop and implement effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department

• Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services

• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital staff
