Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The RN practices in accordance with the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Professional Nursing Practice and institutional policies.

Schedule Details:
- This position is strictly 40 hours per week, flex schedule only.
- Shifts will rotate weekly — for example, one week on days, the next on evenings or nights.
- Full schedules are provided in advance.
- No schedule variations or special requests will be accepted.
Required Certifications:
- Active RN license in the State of Rhode Island (unrestricted).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – required.
- COVID-19 vaccination – required, no exceptions.
- EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience – required.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The RN practices in accordance with the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Professional Nursing Practice and institutional policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver primary nursing care by performing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized plans of care, implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, effective patient care.
- Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC to ensure continuity and compliance.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and support as appropriate.
- Demonstrate flexibility in responding to unit needs and changing patient priorities.
Qualifications:
- Current Rhode Island RN license (active and in good standing).
- BLS and NRP certifications (must remain current throughout assignment).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- EPIC proficiency required.
- Excellent critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
- Must be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Additional Details:
- No extensions or renewals will be offered.
- Candidates must be available for the entire duration of the assignment.
