Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36


Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted): Every to every other weekend


Call Requirements: none


Years of Experience: > 1

Float Requirements: First to float, will float to other med/surg units as needed.

Education & Certifications Required:

Required Certifications (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request) : BLS


Education Modules (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request) : Hospital onboarding modules (to be assigned on Day 1)


Unit Information:

Number of Beds: 36


Patient Ratios: 1:4 day shift, 1:5 night shift


Equipment: n/a


EMR: Epic

Hiring Profile:

Must Have Skills/Experience: strong cardiac telemetry


Preferred Skillset:

1) Experience: cardiac surgery (CABG/valve replacement/post aortic dissection repair), thoracic surgery (VATS, wedge resection, lobectomy), comfort with chest tubes, temporary epicardial pacemakers. Post-TAVR patient.

2) Medical treatment Cardiology: Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension. Familiar with Amio, insulin, dobutamine, nitro, milrinone, diltiazem

3) Surgical/trauma/tele


Type of Patients on Unit: cardiac telemetry, post cardiac and thoracic surgeries.


Personality Fit: flexible & easygoing, teamwork-oriented

Any unacceptable attire: Open toe shoes. T-shirts with logos.
