Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN): PACU Float Pool
Location: Ennis, TX 75119
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibility of Extension)

Facility: Acute Care Hospital Setting
Shift: Days (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
 
Requirements:

• Active RN License (TX or Multistate Compact)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (American Heart Association required)
• Pre-Op & PACU experience required
• Must be able to circulate in:
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Spine
  • ENT
  • Endoscopy

• Circulate and recover patients in Pre-Op and PACU as needed.
• Administer medications and perform clinical treatments/procedures.
• Collect specimens and ensure accurate documentation of patient care.
• Monitor, assess, and communicate patient conditions to the care team.
• Assist patients with ADLs (hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, etc.).
• Coordinate care across disciplines (transfer, discharge, referrals).
• Provide age-appropriate and culturally sensitive education to patients and families.
• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
