Job Title: Registered Nurse Colon & Rectal Surgery
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $60 $65/hr.
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel RN for a post-surgical unit specializing in care of patients following colorectal and urologic surgeries. This role involves working closely with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses to provide ostomy and wound care, as well as managing post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines. Candidates must have Epic EMR experience and strong clinical skills in a large academic hospital setting. Navy blue scrubs are required.
Responsibilities:

Provide post-operative care to patients recovering from colorectal and urologic procedures

Collaborate with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for specialized care

Manage patients requiring TPN, NG tubes, and central lines

Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress

Maintain strict infection control protocols

Document all patient care using Epic EMR
Skills & Requirements:

Epic EMR Experience: Required

Experience:

1 year in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency test OR
-
2 years total RN experience (no test required)

Competency Test: Must be completed within 48 hours of submission (link sent via email)
Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
License:

NY RN License (Active only; no pending licenses accepted) and BLS needed.
