RN - Progressive Critical Care Unit
Job Title: Registered Nurse Progressive Critical Care
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $65 $70/hr
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Travel RN to join the Progressive Critical Care Unit. This unit cares for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients, including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications. Candidates must have Epic EMR experience and be able to complete a competency test within 48 hours of submission.
Responsibilities:

Provide care to high-acuity medical and surgical patients

Manage advanced hemodynamics including pressors, antihypertensive drips, sedative/narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, A-lines, CVPs, EVDs, and traction care

Care for patients requiring HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxypendent

Apply infection prevention protocols consistently

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and manage care plans

Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR

Care for an average patient load of 3 high-acuity patients
Skills & Requirements:

Epic EMR Experience: Required

Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience (Progressive Critical Care Unit, Med-Surg, or ICU)

Certifications: ACLS (Required)

Competency Test: Must be completed within 48 hours of submission (sent via candidate s email; ensure updated email at submission)

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

License: NY RN License (Active only; no pending licenses accepted)

Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs (Required)
